Know if your SEO proposal is fair before you sign

A flat $200 audit of the SEO agency proposal sitting in your inbox. Written by an operator, not a salesperson.

Who this is for

You have a proposal in hand

An agency has sent you a scope and a monthly price, and there is nobody in-house who can tell you whether either one is reasonable.

The number is large enough to hurt

A 1,500 dollar monthly retainer on a 12-month term is 18,000 dollars. That is the decision this audit is sized against.

You want it in writing

Not a sales call that ends in another sales call. A document you can forward to your partner, your accountant, or the agency itself.

How it works

Three steps, and no call at any point

Step 01

Send the proposal

Pay $200 once, then upload the PDF, the Word file, or a copy of the email thread. No call required.

Step 02

We audit it against 17 red flags

Every line is checked against a 17-flag rubric — guarantees, lock-in, auto-renew, ownership, link packages — and against what your site actually needs.

Step 03

Verdict and negotiation script

Within 3 business days: Fair, Overpriced or Walk Away, a 0-100 risk score, the top 3 issues, and an email you can send the agency.

What you get

A verdict

Fair, Overpriced, or Walk Away, stated on page one with the reasoning underneath it.

A 0-100 risk score

Built from the flags actually raised and their severity, so two proposals can be compared on one scale.

The top 3 issues

Each one quotes the proposal verbatim, names the section it came from, and says what it costs you in money or control.

A negotiation script

A written email you can paste and send to the agency, asking for the specific changes that would make the deal signable.

A site reality check

We open your live website and check whether the plan addresses what is actually wrong with it, or was written before anyone looked.

Follow-up questions

Reply to the delivery email within 7 days and clarifications are included at no extra cost.

Pricing

$200 flat

One price, one proposal, paid once. No retainer, no upsell, nothing to decline on a follow-up call. We do not sell SEO, so there is nothing to sell you afterwards.

What is included

  • One proposal, read line by line, in whatever format you have it
  • A check against the full 17-flag rubric, including the absence flags most readers skip
  • A price sanity check against what comparable scopes sell for
  • A look at your live site, so the verdict accounts for what you actually need
  • The written report as a PDF, emailed to you
  • Seven days of follow-up questions by email

Refunds: full before you submit the intake form, full if we miss three business days, none after the report is delivered. Read the full policy.

Questions

Is this legal advice?
No. It is a commercial opinion from an operator who has bought and built SEO, not from a lawyer. It tells you what a clause will cost you in practice and what to ask for instead. If a contract term still worries you after reading the report, take the report to a lawyer: it will make that hour cheaper.
Do you sell SEO services yourselves?
No, and that is the point. We have no affiliation with any agency, take no referral fees, and do not offer to do the work instead. There is no version of this audit where we benefit from telling you to walk away, or from telling you to sign.
How long does it take?
Three business days from the moment your intake form is submitted, not from payment. Most audits come back sooner. If we miss three business days, the 200 dollars is refunded in full and you still get the report.
My proposal is a Word file, a slide deck, or just an email thread. Is that a problem?
No. PDF, Word, slides, screenshots, or a copy-pasted email thread all work. What matters is that the pricing, the deliverables and the contract terms are somewhere in there. If terms were only discussed on a call, say so in the intake: a promise that is missing from the document is itself a finding.
What do I actually do with the result?
Three options, and the report says which one it recommends. Sign as written. Send the negotiation script and sign the amended version. Or decline, using the wording provided. Most reports land on the middle option.
What if the proposal turns out to be fine?
Then the report says so and names the terms that are genuinely reasonable, and you sign with more confidence than you had before. A rubric that only ever finds problems is not a rubric. Flags are never manufactured to fill a report.
Can you audit two proposals so I can compare them?
Yes, as two orders at 200 dollars each. Because both are scored on the same 0-100 scale against the same rubric, they are directly comparable, which a pair of sales calls never is.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund any time before you submit the intake form. Full refund if delivery misses three business days. No refund after the report has been delivered, because at that point you have the thing you bought.
